Alex is a Partner specialising in corporate matters. He joined the team when Clarke Mairs was acquired by Orwins in November 2026.

Alex’s practice focuses primarily on corporate transactional work, with a particular specialism in pharmacy sales and acquisitions. He also regularly advises clients in sectors including childcare, manufacturing and professional services.

He has significant experience in corporate reorganisations and solvent corporate restructures, including complex, multi-stage projects involving demergers, share-for-share exchanges and share buybacks.

Alex has been recognised as a Key Lawyer for Corporate and Commercial matters in the Newcastle region in various editions of The Legal 500.
