Fred has practised commercial litigation in the UK and North America for more than 35 years. He joined the Orwins team when Clarke Mairs became part of the firm in November 2026.

Fred advises on all types of general commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on professional negligence and contractual disputes.

He is qualified as a Solicitor Advocate and regularly conducts cases in both the High Courts and the Court of Appeal.
