Nick joined Clarke Mairs in September 2023 as a Registered Foreign Lawyer, having previously been a Senior Associate at a corporate and commercial law firm in Western Australia. He was admitted to practise in 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in April 2025 after successfully completing the SQE. Nick became part of the Orwins team when Clarke Mairs joined the firm in November 2026.

His Australian experience spans commercial and corporate litigation and insolvency, including contractual disputes and interpretation, debt recovery, local government actions, mining law, trade practices compliance and Corporations Act proceedings. He has acted for several Australian-listed companies and appeared in courts including the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia.

Nick advises on a range of commercial litigation matters, including contractual and insurance disputes, professional negligence claims and property disputes.
