Astrid Welch is a solicitor in the Crime and Regulatory team.
Astrid provides clear, practical assistance to clients dealing with criminal and regulatory issues throughout the legal process. She is committed to offering a responsive and client-oriented service and to helping people cope with the often difficult and stressful situations they face.
Astrid obtained her LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Exeter and then went on to do a Master's degree (LLM) in Public International Law. While she was studying, she completed placements with criminal barristers' chambers and with specialist solicitors' firms, an experience which reinforced her interest in working in criminal defence.
She then went to Roe Lawyers, where she acquired experience in a variety of criminal and regulatory cases before joining Orwins in 2026.
