Katie is a Commercial and IP solicitor with a background that sets her apart in her field. Before qualifying, she spent several years working in-house at a perfume and cosmetics company, giving her a sharp commercial perspective that she carries into every matter she handles. She joined Carter Bond in October 2021 and has built a focused practice around trademarks, IP protection, and commercial agreements.
She advises on a full range of commercial and intellectual property matters, with a particular specialism in trademark registration and protection for both businesses and individuals. Her in-house background means she understands the commercial stakes behind every legal issue and gives advice that is as practical as it is sound.
Whether she is drafting trademark applications, responding to cease-and-desist letters, or advising on complex agreements, Katie brings precision and purpose to her work. Clients consistently note her responsiveness, flexibility, and ability to cut through complexity and get things done.
Katie completed her LPC at the University of Hertfordshire, before gaining significant in-house experience as a paralegal and then solicitor within the consumer goods sector. She qualified in 2021.
