Michael is a consultant with over 40 years of experience in advising on real estate and property. He was Head of Property at OGR Stock Denton before the firm was acquired by BBS Law (now Orwins).
He qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and, at 28, formed his own practice, Michael Stock & Co, in North London.
Michael has a wealth of knowledge and expertise across many areas, including acquisitions and sales, leases and refinancing, acting for both lenders and borrowers. He has represented clients across various sectors, including investment, retail, health and leisure, and has handled countless transactions involving single properties and portfolios.
Michael has extensive experience purchasing freeholds, extending leases of blocks of flats, and developing mixed-use units comprising houses, flats, and commercial premises.
He prides himself on always viewing a transaction from the client's perspective and undertakes to communicate regularly, both by phone and email, with his clients to ensure the flow of information, communication, and negotiation continues throughout the client journey.

Advised on the acquisition and property aspects of Portsmouth Football Club in 2004
Advised on major sales, purchases and refinancing for companies such as Rion Investments Limited and its shareholder and his family of buildings in King's Cross, EC1, Hampstead and Highgate, involving tight deadlines, including a hybrid of offices and serviced offices.
Advised on a residential development, including the interplay with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
