Rachael supports the Private Client team at BBS Law's London Finchley office, combining legal training with commercial experience. She graduated in Law from City, University of London in 2018, then spent three years in marketing for an IT company in Los Angeles before returning to the UK to pursue her legal career.
Her background provides a practical, client-focused perspective that informs her work. Rachael collaborates closely with the Private Client team and contributes diligently and with care to a variety of cases.
Rachael assists across the full range of private client matters, including Wills, probate, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
Rachael holds a Law degree from City, University of London (2018).
Experience
Managed a will rectification matter where mirror wills had been incorrectly prepared and the issue was not identified on first death; obtained Counsel’s opinion and progressed a court-ordered rectification to enable submission to HMRC and the Probate Registry.
Prepared and submitted applications to the Charity Commission in relation to both charitable will trusts and Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)
Delivered creative post-death inheritance planning following intestacy; implemented a Deed of Variation to redirect the estate to the surviving spouse and provided guidance on estate planning to mitigate future tax exposure
Drafted a complex will for a high-net-worth client who wished to exclude their spouse from benefiting, including outlining the associated tax implications
