Robert leads our Real Estate Legal team, guiding UK and international businesses as they enter the UK market. From health and finance to leisure and retail, he’s behind some of the biggest names in the sector. Based in our London office, he advises on high-end offices for start-ups, fintechs and FCA-regulated businesses, always focused on unlocking opportunity.

Robert graduated from the University of Leeds in 1998. He trained with Dentons and qualified in 2002, having previously worked at Stringer Saul and Memery Crystal, before joining OGR Stock Denton in 2009. He was pivotal in OGR’s growth before their acquisition by BBS Law (now brand x).

Robert moves fast to secure the best terms for his clients. He keeps in touch throughout every deal, making sure clients know exactly where they stand and what matters most. Clients value his straight-talking advice and deep expertise, which help them get the results they need.

Robert works with secured lenders to ensure lending can happen quickly and securely. He also handles high-end residential transactions and negotiations in areas including Eaton Square and around Kensington, Mayfair, and St. John's Wood.

Recent experience includes advising on the acquisition, pre-letting, development and disposal of a large mixed-use scheme in East London, acting for Blue Inc in the property purchase of the Officers' Club's 50 properties from administration, and being an integral part of the team for Sun European Partners in their purchase of Bonmarche, which has stores in over 240 locations worldwide.

Robert has represented the multinational brand Aesop for 15 years (20 stores in the UK) and continues to assist with acquisitions in the UK.
